About this concert
Concordia Chamber Players open their 2026–27 season with American voices: Caroline Shaw, John Corigliano, Jessie Montgomery, Kenji Bunch and Philip Glass.
The program moves from Shaw’s Blueprint and Corigliano’s Snapshot: Circa 1909 to Montgomery’s Strum and a movement from Glass’s String Quartet No. 4, with two works by Kenji Bunch, including Megalopolis. Percussionist Yousif Sheronick adds his own Jubb Jannin.
Siwoo Kim plays alongside violinist Isabelle Durrenberger, violist Kathryn Lockwood and cellist Michelle Djokic. An open rehearsal is held the day before at the Solebury Friends Meeting.
