About this concert
Musikiwest returns to its home at SandBox with a program built around Mozart’s String Quintet in C major, opening with John Corigliano’s Snapshot: Circa 1909.
Corigliano drew his quartet from a photograph of his father. In the days before the concert the musicians work with students from the El Sistema program in Watsonville through open rehearsals and coaching. Siwoo Kim joins the ensemble; admission is free for those 18 and under.
