Dear Friends,

It is a great honor and joy for me to present “Torke: Last” for your GRAMMY consideration! It is an album and composition made with love and empathy for our contemporaries in this world.

Acclaimed American composer Michael Torke invited me to this project when I was suffering from burn-out, saying that these “12 slow movements of violin concertos” were written to serve as balms for humanity in an increasingly impersonal, impatient and chaotic world, constructed in Michael’s concise, warm and intelligent language.

The intentionality of this project resonated with me, and the team – myself, ECCO (East Coast Chamber Orchestra), Michael Torke and celebrated recording engineer Silas Brown – made this recording with care and empathy. It is our hope that each track positively impacts your present mind and soul. Please take a listen, wherever your Self may be!
