Violinist Kim spectacular in Sibelius Concerto with SFSO

“A spectacular rendition, in which the performer visibly reveled in the work’s manifold complexities.”

On 12 March 2026 Siwoo Kim was the soloist in Sibelius’s Violin Concerto with the South Florida Symphony Orchestra at The Parker, conducted by Sebrina Maria Alfonso.

Robert Croan reviewed the concert for Palm Beach ArtsPaper. It is a concerto Siwoo has played since he was 13.

Kim was no less impressive in the concerto’s quieter moments, floating high-lying melodic lines with poignance and sensitivity.
